Special Education Services

Belmont and Belmont Academy Charter Schools are proud to be nurturing and supportive learning environments for all students. Both schools are committed to working with parents to provide our students with quality educational experiences that will promote academic, social, and emotional success, in keeping with the Mission of the Community Education Alliance of West Philadelphia. Procedures have been put in place to address the evaluation, identification, program and placement options for students who may qualify for special education services. These procedures are in compliance with federal and state mandates for eligible students. Our schools have the resources and the contacts with external agencies to ensure that every child, including those with special learning needs, has the opportunity to reach their potential.
